Data on phones is too expensive

Fido is charging $0.04 a kilobyte,  $5 for up to 500kb, $0.03 after that, or $25 for 5MB, $0.01 per kb after that.

Loading up the movie listings for one of the downtown theaters 56kb.

no plan $5 $25
$2.24 $0.56/$1.68 $0.28/$0.56

But if you have a hiptop, you get unlimited* data for only $20.

*unlimited means they just don't tell you the limits up front.

I put together a little graph of the cost of data for all plans. If you go over 50MB a month the 100mb plan is the least expensive, on the other hand if you go over 144MB a month the 5Mb plan is the cheapest. With the 5mb plan you only pay $0.01 a kb once you hit 5mb, all other plans are $0.03/kb once you go over the limit.
