Random Ramblings

Three bad experiences shopping today

I went out to buy Beautiful Katamari today, my first stop was Future Shop.  They didn't have it but they did have the new Rob Zombie CD so I bought that.  The price rang in wrong at the register 14.99 instead of 12.99 the cashier caught it but not until the transaction was completed so I had to go over to customer service to get it fixed.  I almost walked out because I didn't really want to wait in line for some unknown amount of time for $2.  Because of the mistake they actually gave me $10 which made me pretty happy,  still annoyed but much better then just getting $2 back.

My second stop was at EB, they actually had Katamari there,  it was on the shelf marked 44.99.  When the sale rang through the cashier asked for 54 something,  hmm,  that sounded a bit high.  The display box was marked 44.99, the box pulled from the cabinet was 49.99.  At least they fixed it there, but the cashier was a real grouch and didn't want to do it.  I guess I totally ruined her day, but the manager was behind the registers and told her how to fix it.

Third stop,  I was getting a little hungry and walked by a restaurant that had some good smelling food.  I walked in,  there were some people eating at one of the tables, but know one behind the counter.  After reading the menu, it was pretty small so it didn't take long,  no one had yet to show up so I left.

When shopping at Future Shop it is worth your time to go back if you notice a problem with the price that was rung though, but wait for the transaction to complete if you notice it at the register.  EB sucks avoid shopping there, which I mostly do anyway but sometimes you want a new game and they are the only ones with it in stock.  And I am still hungry.
